Tyler and the guys who came over to install the new chimney lining did a great job. My only complaint is that I selected 2nd Generation Chimney in part because they touted their 10-12 year warranties on chimney lining and sealants. After the work was done however, I come to find out that this warranty is contingent on getting annual inspections from 2nd Generation (or similar company) at hundreds of dollars per inspection. So I have a little bit of feeling of "Bait and Switch". I don't use my fireplace that often. So creosote or other types of buildup shouldn't be that significant on an annual basis to warrant inspection. Maybe every two or three years ...but not every year. So that was a bit of a bummer.

We have been using your service for several years and we keep coming back because of your excellent service! However this last time you were here 10/25/24 my white Berber carpet down stairs has black footsteps around where the tech was working. I was surprised because in the past Trever was ALLWAYS VERY clean and went out of his way to not make a mess. I own “Drop Cloths” I would have put down had I known! I’m going to have a carpet cleaner come out and hopefully remove the stains. Other than that we have never had a problem and continue to be a loyal customer. ( In the future, may I ask that you use drop cloths when working on the basement fireplace! Thankyou, Patrick and Jane Arcand.
