After checking the system, I would recommend using less resistant filters. Static pressure was high, but a lot of this is because of the filters that are being used. AC is running great. Refrigerant levels are good and all electrical components are operating well within manufactured specifications.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for cooling. Measured the systems static pressure measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Checked interior of the furnace for cleanliness. Found that the fan for heating and cooling is starting to collect dust. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Rinsed coil free of debris. Spoke with homeowner about the system. Air conditioning system is operational at this time.

While performing maintenance on this AC and furnace, I noticed that the refrigerant levels were low after washing. The unit levels were still low. I removed the filter and made sure we had the correct amount of air going through the system which we do and we’re still low meaning there’s probably a small leak somewhere. We need to add refrigerant and some kind of leak seal with the UV Dye so that we can figure out where this leak is. If we can’t find it that way we need to do a leak search.

Arrived to customers house for an AC out. Upon arrival found that evaporator coil was frozen and condenser was cutting in and out due low pressure switch in condenser. Will need to return to check in morning once system has time to thaw.

Went for an out on system. Went to the condenser unit. Noticed compressor was off. Checked capacitor was failing. Did replace capacitor, system is now up and running properly. Checked electrical components are passing for manufacture specifications. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann
