Customer called in needing gas line to new gas oven. Upon arrival found that customer already has a gas stubbed out for oven inside one the cabinets. Gave customer pricing and customer opted to go head and get work done. Shut gas off to home and removed gas nipple from wall and installed a shorter one to create more cabinet space. Ran 3ft of hard pipe gas line over where oven will be at. Installed new gas shut off valve and new gas appliance connector to oven. Checked for gas leaks and no leaks detected.

Completed furnace, maintenance and inspection. I cleaned flame sensor and wiped down the furnace. I checked amp draws and tested components. I checked airflow and tested for carbon monoxide. The air pressure on the furnace is over the max rating for the furnace stated on the data plate by the manufacturer. Air pressure that is too high causes the system to work harder to move the air through the system and can wear down the system faster. It also causes the furnace to try and get air from anywhere that it can and since the furnace is in an attic, it will try to pull in the attic air and dust. Furnace is operating at departure.
Completed furnace, maintenance and inspection. I checked out all components and amp draws. I tested humidifier and it is working as it should. I checked for carbon monoxide and cleaned furnace. I found no issues with how the furnace is running at this time. Furnace is operational at departure. UV light system is recommended to keep bacteria from growing around the inside coil area. Surge protection is also recommended to protect the system from power outages or power surges that could short out or damage motors and electrical parts.
Fan motor replaced
Went for an out on system. Fan motor outside was struggling to kick on. Did check capacitor and is within specifications. Checked amperage was very low. Fan motor is failing of specifications. Have unit off to not over work compressor. With customer approval, fan motor will be replaced. Will come out tomorrow to do so.
Repair done, line set replaced. Added refrigerant dye and also replace two stat wire to ac. System is up and running.
Arrived for ac check today. Stared at furnace and checked static pressure, it is passing. The supply side is having trouble moving air out. Motor amps are running a little high. Blower wheel was clean. There was a 16 degree temp split, which is low. A previous company adjusted fan speeds. While checking charge system was reading low. If fan speeds are adjusted charge needs to corrected. All electrical components are running properly. Today I added up to one pound of refrigerant and that was enough to make charge correct. There is now a 19-20 degree temp split. System is running upon departure. Thanks for choosing LBA.
Proposed two different solutions for CFM correction. One for improving and one to fix. Customer recently had a large medical bill but once that is handled this will be next.

Called to follow up on duct cleaning. Jennifer said that she is looking into ways to keep dust out of her house now and not the Ductwork alone and is not interested in doing a cleaning anymore.
Arrived to check mini split with two heads. Rinsed outdoor coil clean. Rinsed filters for both units. Wiped down coils for both units. Wiped down and cleaned units. Both have a 19-20 degree split. Both are running and cooling properly. Thanks for choosing LBA.
