Today Lennox rooftop unit #10 (s/n ending 0783) had its power restored after a quick check for any shorts to ground. This unit was noticed when I was servicing unit #9 because the rocks around its drain were completely dry. After restoring power there was not 24v at the thermostat terminals. The low voltage transformer had switched off on an overcurrent safety. I also discovered that the first stage cooling functions had been wired out of service. These were restored. The economizer was also wired out and it was not brought back into service today. The control voltages were traced for both the first and second circuit and the resulting diagnosis is that the contactors for both first and second stage cooling have failed. In addition to this the blower motor drive belt is worn and squealing. I spoke with Joe and a verbal approval was given for a time plus material repair of the components listed above. Arrived for ac check today. Filter was 2 years old, I changed it. There is a 20 degree temp split. Motor amps are a little high, but with in the max rating. Blower wheel has some dust on it. At the condensing unit unit all electrical components are running properly. Charge my be a little low. I’ve documented it and we will watch it. I rinsed coil clean. System is running upon departure. She relayed to me that the thermostat for rooftop unit #9 was not responding previously however it had started working again. I accessed the roof to check the unit via Sprout’s roof access hatch. I located unit #9 and checked the unit for amp draws, motor bearings, voltage and temperatures. The system was functioning and all tests were in their proper range. I also checked for loose wiring connections and anything that would have caused a thermostat glitch. Nothing was discovered today that would have caused this issue. While on the roof I noticed that unit #10 was not running. I opened the control panel and there was no primary voltage to the unit. When I climbed down from the roof I rechecked #9 and it was holding 70deg. Unit #10 was 3 degrees above its se

Went for a maintenance call today. Tested for static pressure, system is passing when in cool. All electrical components are passing for system. Refrigerant levels are passing drain line is clean.
