Arrived to remedy a system that was unable to keep up in the cold weather. Upon arrival found homeowner had removed the systems filter and the system was maintaining the home’s temperature. Installed furnace filter and set up for critical checks. Turned on the furnace and began diagnosing the system. Found that the system is operating with off the charts static pressure and that was causing the furnace to cycle on its overheat limit. Reached out to a field supervisor to finish the diagnosis on the systems static pressure. With homeowners approval on repairs made adjustments to the furnace to help make sure it doesn’t get dirty or overheat between now and when repairs can be made.system is operational upon departure.
