Arrived to remedy an inoperable system. Upon inspection of the system found a code displayed saying that the fan is operating, despite the system doing nothing. Cycled power and the system was still displaying this code. Cycled power again and the system started operating. Determined that the control board thought that the fan was running and is not actually communicating with the fan motor. Once system started running heard a crackling noise coming from the voltage rectifier for the fan motor. Determined the system is in need of a control board and a voltage rectifier. Presented repairs to homeowner and with their approval reached out and ordered parts. Had a parts runner go get the necessary parts. Once parts arrived replaced the control board and voltage rectifier. Cleaned up the thermostat wires to prevent issues in the future. Tested system operations. System is functioning properly at this time.

Went for a maintenance call today for heat. Tested for static pressure system is passing when in heat. All electrical components are passing for manufacture specifications. Did a combustion test is within range. Inspected heat exchanger no cracks/leaks were detected. Checked temp split and is passing for specifications. Cleaned flame sensor and pressure switch hose. 12-3-25 No heat call the back counter area is cold and this is unit #6 on the roof. Lennox I did speak to Dr. Smith Model# GCS16-048-120-6Y Serial # 5606A18530 Found of ignition board flashing three times telling me inducer motor pressure switch or rollout safety I checked the rollout safety, reset the system inducer motor started pressure switch did close. Didn’t find any problem with the system. We’ve had some pretty bad snow storms with high winds. There is a potential for the inducer motor exhaust getting clogged up and then tripping that safety. Cycled the unit about three times I’m also cycled the other two rooftop units for their space. All three systems are working at this time.

Installed new ballast for UV system. Tested out the UV system and everything worked as it should. Customer requested quotes for the whole home search protection and whole home humidifier. I showed the quote for those. Customer would like to take some time to consider what to do

Arrive for no heat call. I found the gas valve is bad. Power is to it, but it’s not opening to let gas through. With approval I replaced gas valve. Did a gas leak search. System started up as it should. Carbon monoxide test was 0ppm. Supply temp was 135. Thanks for choosing LBA.

Arrived to do a performance maintenance. Set system for heat. Measured the systems static pressure and measured a temperature split between return and supply air. Went outside and verified refrigerant levels. Verified operation of all electronic and mechanical components. Checked interior of the air handler for cleanliness. Found that the uv bulb is burnt out. Set up a time to return and replace this bulb under warranty. Verified operation of the electric heat strips and measured a temperature split for this type of heating. Replaced system filter with homeowners provided filter.

Went for an out system was off on condenser unit. Checked capacitor and was failing, did replace cap. System is up and running compressor amps are passing. Fan amperage is high but within range still. System is up and running before leaving. Thank you for choosing LBA services-Johann
